Volvo 262C Bertone

This Volvo 262C Bertone was delivered to Switzerland in 1981. From new until 2004, there has only been one owner. In 2004, the car is sold to a German collector from Saarbrücken. The German collector takes good care of this beautiful car and begins restoring it after 10 years in storage. In between these 10 years, he drove it in the summer on red plates (special German license plate for vintage cars).

After 3 years of restoration, he was ready with the car and did the technical inspection to get the historical status of this Volvo 262C Bertone.
He then sold the car in 2017 to another collector based here in Berlin who the seller knows personally. He had the car for 4 years and continued to drive it on red plates.
In 2021, the seller buys the car, and since the seller works in film and commercials, they did some filming with it.

The car has never been registered in Germany because the seller also drove it with red plates.

Import tax and VAT have been paid, so all that’s left to do is to get the car inspected and registered.

Here’s one of the commercials this Volvo Bertone was featured in.
