This is where it all starts

This is Mercedes’ first official AMG model W202 C36. The 1995 Mercedes C36 AMG is based on Mercedes’ first C-Class, and the engine is a tuned M104 engine, bored up from 3.2 to 3.6. The car is built with the very best parts from Mercedes’ shelves. It is optimized and tuned by the AMG factory in Affalterbach. Brakes and suspension etc. from SL500, gearbox from E300 diesel due to the torque etc. In 1990, DaimlerAG took over the management of the small factory, but it was not until 2005 that they took full ownership.

In 1994, this model is born. This car saw the light of day in 1995, where it was immediately shipped to Japan and drove for the first 27 years and 95,000 km. of his life.

In 2022, the car will come to Europe, where it currently runs here in Denmark. Since the car is imported from Japan, you can take the VAT out of the car if you buy it as a CVR number or lease it. This also means that no Danish tax has been paid on it.

You get a pristine car

The Mercedes C36 AMG 1995 is finished in silver BRILLIANT SILVER METALLIC (744U) and black LEATHER BLACK (201A) cabin with wood details on the steering wheel, doors, gimbal box, and dashboard. The ash berry is of course signed, just as it should be. The seats are all four sports seats/bowls with excellent lumbar support. The car is in virtually 100% original condition inside and out. It is original paint with the exception of the front bumper, which is newly painted. There’s not a gram of rust on the car, but the color under the paint is tired. The seller has considered repainting the car, but decided he would rather keep it in its original paint.

There are two tailpipes and they are square marked, AMG. The steering wheel is also AMG branded. Both front seats are fully electric, as is the antenna that goes up and down when you turn the radio or car on and off. The car has electric exterior mirrors with electric fold-in function. Naturally, there is a central locking system that works with a key. The headrests are attached to a button on the dashboard, right next to the air-conditioning button. The electric sunroof has a tilt function and, of course, can be fully opened so you can enjoy the ride to the fullest. In the back room there is a 12-piece. CD changer that’s currently filled with contemporary music.

The car is on original AMG monoblock 17″ wheels in good condition with good Pirelli tires. The car has just had the gearbox suspension and engine suspension replaced, as well as 3 ignition coils and valve springs. The engine runs well and sounds fantastic when it’s revved up a bit. Despite its age, it performs incredibly well in acceleration, in the city, on beach roads and on the autobahn, where you can, of course, blast off and let your cruise control guide the speed. The gear shift is German, it’s Mercedes, it’s smooth and perfect.
